Terms of Use
By downloading or using BeerTalk, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. BeerTalk is for adults aged 18 and over only.
1. Who may use BeerTalk
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use BeerTalk. By registering, you confirm that you are 18 or older. If we discover that a user is under 18, we will terminate their account immediately.
BeerTalk is currently available for personal, non-commercial use only.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at aljazpetek912@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
You may not create accounts using automated means, or create accounts on behalf of other people without their explicit consent.
3. What you can post
BeerTalk is designed for sharing photos of beers and related social content between friends. You may post photos, send messages, and react to content shared with you.
By posting content, you confirm that:
- You own the content or have the right to share it
- It does not infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
- It complies with these terms and applicable law
4. What you may not do
You may not use BeerTalk to:
- Post or share content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or obscene
- Share content that depicts or promotes violence, self-harm, or illegal activity
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Share other people's private information without their consent
- Post content that promotes alcohol consumption to anyone under the legal drinking age in their jurisdiction
- Use the app in any way that could disable, overburden, or impair our infrastructure
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service
- Use the app for commercial purposes, spam, or automated posting
5. Your content and our licence
You retain ownership of all content you post on BeerTalk. By posting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and deliver that content solely for the purpose of operating the service.
We do not claim ownership of your photos or messages, and we do not use your content for advertising or any purpose other than delivering the service to you and your chosen recipients.
6. Responsible alcohol use
BeerTalk celebrates social drinking in moderation. We encourage users to drink responsibly and in accordance with the laws of their country. BeerTalk does not promote excessive alcohol consumption, and we reserve the right to remove content that glorifies dangerous or harmful drinking behaviour.
Please drink responsibly. If you or someone you know has a problem with alcohol, contact a local support service.
7. Content moderation and enforcement
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms, and to suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly or seriously violate these terms. We will generally notify you of moderation actions, unless doing so would harm an ongoing investigation or another user.

8. Availability of the service
We aim to keep BeerTalk available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend the service for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss caused by service interruptions.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
BeerTalk is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ALPE svetovanje s.p. is not liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the app
- Loss of data or content
- Conduct of other users
- Technical failures or interruptions
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Slovenia and the European Union. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Slovenia, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under EU law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app. Your continued use of BeerTalk after the notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
